Islamic Society of Delaware
- Project: Islamic Society of Delaware
- Square Footage: 14,050 square feet
- Scope of Work: StudioJAED designed and documented a new mosque for the Islamic Society of Delaware which addresses space requirements while respecting Islamic religion and teachings.
- One of the first projects underway in the program is the South Coastal Library. The project includes a 10,000 square foot addition, as well as complete renovations to the existing 10,000 square foot building. The project is expected to be completed in 2008.
- StudioJAED worked closely with the client to address all of their concerns and generate a design that would satisfy their programmatic and religious needs. Our deep respect for our clients has allowed us to grow as designers and planners as well as serve the community with a design that has created a new level of excitement within their organization.
