- Scope of Work: The Milton Public Library is an integral part of its community and is dedicated to providing free access to materials, programs, and services in a family-oriented environment. Therefore, renovations and additions were required in order to create much needed community gathering space. The addition is intended to blend with the small town charm of Milton, Delaware, while creating unique architecture that is expressive of its function.
- Much has changed at the Milton Public Library since 1875. At that time, only 200 books were available, and the building's only function was lending books. Now, the library circulates more than 47,000 books and the renovated and additional space will provide facilities for adults and children's programs as well as for tutoring and meetings.
